WSOC falls to nationally ranked Molloy

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. - The Lincoln University women's soccer team fell to nationally-ranked Molloy Saturday, 13-0, at the LU Aux Field in East Coast Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Molloy scored 10 of its 13 goals in the first half on 25 shots. The Lions added 17 shots in the second half.
  • Lincoln celebrated four seniors, Megan Dakwa (Gaithersburg, Md./Watkins Mill)Sarata Bello (Sagamu, Nigeria/Remo Methodist)Kenya Davis (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo) and Tamara Evans (Clayton, Del./Smyrna) at halftime.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

  • Lincoln finished with three shots, two in the first half. Bello, freshman Grace Quiah (Philadelphia, Pa. /John Bartram) and freshman Parker Moss (Elmira, N.Y. /Elmira) each had a shot.
  • Dakwa allowed nine goals with seven saves, while freshman Saige Samuels (Laurel, Md. /Paint Branch) allowed four goals with 10 saves.

  • Lincoln travels to the University of Bridgeport 4 p.m. Saturday in ECC action.
