Mass Communications Department Mission

The mass communications program produces students who excel in journalism, public relations and strategic communication.  There is a strong emphasis on media literacy, multimedia software, platform application, media production, digital media convergence, as well as a strong theoretical and research foundation.  The Mass Communications major offers two tracks: Digital Communication and Strategic Communication.
