Why: The purpose of this event is to educate students, parents/guardians and educators about the value of Lincoln University and other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Spring Musical Auditions 2017

Please join us Wednesday, November 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Ware Center Theater for A Night on Broadway Auditions.

Singers: Prepare one song,preferably from the Broadway repertory. Bring sheet music for the accompanist, if possible.
Dancers: Prepare a short dance to the song of your choice.
Stage Crew: Interested in costumes, make-up, props, art work, lighting,sound, etc.? Please come and meet us.

All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend to apply directly with the U.S. Passport Agency.

The Langston Hughes Memorial Library is proud to partner with the Horace Mann Bond Honors Program to participate in a read-out for the National Banned Books Week. The read-out will be the central feature for Banned Books Week at Langston Hughes Memorial Library. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate by reading a passage from their favorite banned book that have been banned and or challenged anywhere in the world . After the passage is read we will take a few minutes to discuss the passage and a bit of the history behind why the book was banned or challenged.
