There was an email circulating January 25 addressed to Lincoln students about a threat of violence. Public Safety received the email and investigated its origin.
Upon further review and working with other agencies, it appears the threat was credible and was directed at a high school in another state with the name "Lincoln" contained therein. The time frame for the threat has elapsed and it further appears that situation has been contained.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Lincoln University’s six Dwight David Eisenhower Transportation HBCU Fellows participated in a portion of the annual U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) annual Transportation Research Board conference in Washington, D.C. held Jan. 10 – 12.
In August, the DOT awarded the students a total of $40,000 in fellowship funding, who also received a one-time grant to attend the conference. Each recipient received between $3,500 and $10,000.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – A Philadelphia Police captain and alumna Jacqueline Bailey-Pittman, M.Ed. '00 donated $50,000 on Tuesday to establish the Jacqueline L. Bailey-Pittman Endowed Scholarship for Philadelphia students majoring in criminal justice at Lincoln University.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Lincoln University’s new undergraduate degree program in nursing recently received its accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) after its board met, Oct. 19- 22. CCNE is listed by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
