LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Lincoln University sophomore Gionelly Mills was selected as one of 83 students recognized as the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities’ (WHIHBCUs) 2015 HBCU All-Stars for their accomplishments in academics, leadership, and civic engagement.
Lincoln University, PA — A seemingly normal band practice quickly turned into a praise session when the Orange Crush Roaring Lion Marching Band learned they received enough votes to be one of eight bands invited to compete in the 2016 Honda Battle of the Bands (HBOB). The competition takes place January 30 in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to Roland Green, the bands director and percussion coordinator, this achievement has been years in the making.

NABA is nation’s premier professional associations representing the interests of more than 100,000 African Americans and other minorities in accounting, consulting, finance, and information technology.
Lincoln can be a leader of HBCUs in training students at the undergraduate level so that they are equipped for the rigors of neuroscience at the graduate level,” said Dr. Karen Baskerville, the grant’s principal investigator. “Furthermore, the 4=1 BS/MS program will directly increase the number of underrepresented students matriculating into graduate programs.”
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Friends of Hosanna at Lincoln University and the Toni Morrison Society erected and dedicated a ‘Bench by the Road’ today at the historic Hosanna African Union Methodist Protestant (A.U.M.P.) Church.
The Bench by the Road Project, a memorial history and community outreach project of the Toni Morrison Society, was initially launched on the 75th birthday of the society’s namesake to create an outdoor museum that marks important locations in African American history both in the United States and abroad.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The University City campus of Lincoln University will be closed Sept. 25 and 26 during the Philadelphia visit of Pope Francis. University City will resume normal operating hours Sept. 28 at 8 a.m.
The University City campus, which offers a variety of graduate programs for working-adult learners most evenings and weekends, is located in the heart of the educational corridor on Market Street in Philadelphia, across from the 30th Street SEPTA station.
