Lincoln University, a premier, nationally ranked institution of higher education, is seeking applications for its annual Amos Scholarship Award in Music for the 2002-2003 academic year.
To be eligible, applicants must be instrumental music majors or minors at the University; students who have exhibited significant musical talent, academic achievement (2.75 grade point average minimum), and high potential for an exemplary career in music. The annual award is at least $500.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Dr. Grant D. Venerable, II, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs for Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Ga., and who has many years of experience as a chemist and college administrator, is the new vice president for Academic Affairs for Lincoln University. He started June 15, 2002.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - Noted music scholar Dr. Horace C. Boyer, professor emeritus of Music Theory and African-American Music at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, will speak at Lincoln University on Wednesday, March 20 in the Mary Dod Brown Memorial Chapel at 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Amos Lecture Series Committee, this event is free and open to the public.
