Time, Talent & Treasure make up the traditional trifecta of philanthropic giving. But now, thanks to instant access through the internet and in particular social media, they are being joined by a fourth “T,” Testimony. Lincoln University has undoubtedly been the source of many wonderful testimonies by, about and for alumni, faculty, staff and friends.
The Office of Advancement Services & Operations is focused on building an information infrastructure that supports the strategic plan’s theme of operational excellence. Part of the Division of Institutional Advancement, the office’s units include: gift & records management, prospect management & research, reporting, data analysis, stewardship and business operations.
A University steering committee, as well as faculty, staff, students, alumni and members of the Board of Trustees, are working with Sasaki, a global design firm to develop a facilities master plan. The plan’s scope includes short-, medium- and long-term plans for capital improvements, including projects that address deferred maintenance, space utilization, historic preservation, student housing, athletics and technology. The plan is expected to be completed later this spring.
During the 2018 National Day of Giving campaign, Lincoln enjoyed a record number of contributions from longstanding and first-time alumni donors, dedicated faculty and staff, students and friends of the University. These 346 supporters prove that the pride is still flowing through the hearts of many, and the gifts that you all gave made a real difference in closing the gap for students.

To address the No. 1 theme of the University’s strategic plan—building a culture that supports student success— Student Success encourages students to perform well academically and develop holistically: mind, body and spirit. Student Success set the tone with a one-stop service center for onboarding all new students, revised the First-Year Experience 2.0 course and established a robust new student orientation.
Lincoln alumni continue to change the trajectory of our present and future through investment in our students. This past year has produced several noteworthy moments on campus and within the community.
