Langston Hughes Playwright Workshop: Character, Story and Scene

Al Simpkins & The Bushfire Theater of Performing Arts will host the Langston Hughes Playwright Workshop: Character, Story and Scene. The workshops are open to faculty, staff and especially students. Nightly readings are open to the LU community at 7 p.m. in the ICC. Free admission.

Learn how to turn your creative idea into a script. This workshop focuses on the craft of writing a stage play. Emphasis is on internal and external traits needed to build character, scene building and writing emotionally exciting dialogue.
