The department of History, Political Science, Philosophy, & Religion invites you to a public forum on The United States Constitution and Citizenship with our guest speaker, Philadelphia City Councilwoman, Jannie L. Blackwell on Tuesday, September 17 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the International Cultural Center Auditorium. This forum is open to the Lincoln University community and the general public. All are invited.

International Suicide Awareness Day is an event sponsored by Counseling Service and will take place on Tuesday, September, 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each participant will receive a certificate. Space is limited and you must sign up to attend.

LU Counseling Services is offering free, confidential screenings for students on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Location to be determined. National Depression Day is dedicated to raising awareness and screening students for depression, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder, and referral to treatment resources if warranted.

The Opening Convocation will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the ICC.

The event features President Allen’s State of the University Address and the installation of the Student Government Association Officers and Student Senate. The First-Year Student Kente Stole Dedication & Conferral will also take place during the convocation. Students are expected to dress in all black and arrive by 12:00 p.m.
