Lincoln University — The Rev. Dr. Maurice J. Moyer, Lincoln University Class of 1949 passed away on Tuesday, March 6th at Christiana Hospital. While a student at Lincoln, Rev. Moyer participated in many campus organizations including: Student Senate, Y.M.C.A. Cabinet, Dormitory Council, Glee Club and N.A.A.C.P. During his time at Lincoln University Rev.
Lincoln University – On Saturday, Mar. 31, at Drexel University, Lincoln University graduate, Donielle Turner and 18 other women will compete for the title Miss Philadelphia 2012. The winner of this title will then compete for Miss Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh during the month of May. Ultimately, the winner of the Miss Pennsylvania title will compete in the 2012 Miss America Pageant.
Lincoln Alum is now Baltimore’s Power 104.7 Midday Host

Last year, Jason became the midday host of Baltimore’s Power 104.7, and has been showing off the skills he learned from Lion Media and his prior internships.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Reggie Smith III, English and Mass Communications graduate of 1992, received national recognition for community service during the 2009 Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) Conference. Twelve of his colleagues joined him in Baltimore on February 18-22 to receive their awards.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA ~ State Representative Art Hershey presented Dr. Lenetta Lee, former tenured professor at Lincoln University and graduate of the class of 1985, with a citation recognizing her charter school for its educational achievements.
The Erin Dudley Forbes Charter School, founded in 2001, made AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) for two years in a row based on the mandated statewide standardized tests. To achieve AYP, a majority of the students tested in the grades three through six scored proficient or higher on the tests.
