LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – In an effort to familiarize both students and parents with its programs and campus life, Lincoln University, the nation’s first Historically Black University, will host a Fall Open House on Friday, October 25 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Horace Mann Bond-Leslie Pinckney Hill Scholarship is Awarded to Students Studying for Graduate Degrees in Pennsylvania
Two recent alumni of Lincoln University have been selected to receive the Horace Mann Bond-Leslie Pinckney Hill Scholarship for their high academic performance and to pursue graduate degrees in dentistry.
Lincoln University, a premier, nationally ranked institution of higher education, is seeking applications for its annual Amos Scholarship Award in Music for the 2002-2003 academic year.
To be eligible, applicants must be instrumental music majors or minors at the University; students who have exhibited significant musical talent, academic achievement (2.75 grade point average minimum), and high potential for an exemplary career in music. The annual award is at least $500.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Dr. Grant D. Venerable, II, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs for Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Ga., and who has many years of experience as a chemist and college administrator, is the new vice president for Academic Affairs for Lincoln University. He started June 15, 2002.

Suzuno Asanumo, student coordinator of KCP International Language Institute, in Tokyo, Japan will visit Lincoln University from April 4-12, 2002, to discuss Lincoln's intensive Japanese language program with University faculty staff, and students.

Boyer, professor emeritus of Music Theory and African-American Music at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, will speak at Lincoln University on Wednesday, March 20 in the Mary Dod Brown Memorial Chapel at 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Amos Lecture Series Committee, this event is free and open to the public.
