LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – As the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU) founded in 1854, Lincoln University, formerly, Ashmun Institute, is as much a part of Black history as the distinguished and notable alumni it has produced.
In commemoration of February as Black History Month, the University’s “Alum Lincoln” Facebook page will highlight the University’s contributions, as well as its notable alumni’s contributions, not only to Black history, but to world history each day.
