Welcome Message from the Director

Greetings from the Office of Veterans Affairs (OVA)!

My name is Tamarkius Roby, and I have the esteemed pleasure of serving as the inaugural director of  Veterans Affairs. My primary role is to ensure every student veteran and their dependents have the necessary tools and resources to navigate our campus community. There are various entitlements that come with being a student veteran here at Lincoln University. Those benefits include in-state tuition rate, priority registration (every semester), and benefits counseling to help maximize your educational resources from the Veterans Benefits Administration.

Our office also provides tailored services:

  • Academic and Financial Advocacy
  • Leadership Training (ROTC)
  • Veteran Work-study
  • Veterans Resource Center (dedicated lounge for studying, networking, or relaxing)
  • Student Veterans Association

My goal is to ensure that each student receives the support and guidance they need to become a graduate of this historic institution. As a veteran myself, I understand that transitioning to higher education can be stressful and confusing at times. Currently, I am a member of the U. S. Army Reserve with prior service in the Army National Guard and on active duty assignment.   I invite you to visit my department in Wright Hall, First Floor, Rooms 100, 112, and 113. My office and I are committed to your success so we encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns. I look forward to welcoming you to the Lion Family.

Keep Charging; Hold the Line!
