LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board recently awarded The Lincoln University with a $40,000 grant to further the institution’s ongoing efforts to educate its students on the dangers of alcohol abuse and discourage underage drinking.
Over 100 municipalities, community groups, schools, universities and law enforcement agencies applied for a share of the board’s $2.1 million program, of which Lincoln received the maximum allotment.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA. – After nearly 30 years, The Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU), will unveil its new athletics logo and branding for the university’s NCAA, Division II intercollegiate athletics program. Lincoln’s current athletics logo depicts the orange and blue head and upper torso of its lion mascot in stride with an “LU” scrawled into its mane.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Trustee Kimberly A. Lloyd ’94 was unanimously elected Board Chair of The Lincoln University Board of Trustees at its Annual Meeting held March 23.
Lloyd, whose term as Chair is from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015, has served on the Board since August 2004.
In addition, the Board also unanimously elected its remaining slate of officers. They include Trustees Rev. Dr. Kevin R. Johnson, Vice-Chair and Mr. Kevin E. Vaughan, Secretary.
The Lincoln University Leads NAFEO delegation of more than 14 HBCUs and PBIs
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Lincoln University President Dr. Robert Jennings and a contingent of more than 40 Lincoln students will lead a delegation of at least 14 Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs) in calling for affordable college education, Saturday at the 50th anniversary of the historic March on Washington.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Marion Bernard-Amos will assume additional duties as Interim-Director of The Lincoln University – Coatesville satellite campus, which will open for registration on August 22, 2013. Registration hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bernard-Amos, currently director of Title III Programs at the University, has extensive experience in strategic roles that have provided leadership, coordination and vision for a variety of programs.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Lincoln University has named Clevell S. Roseboro, II as Director of Libraries for the Langston Hughes Memorial Library. He will assume the position on August 1.
