Arabian Nights love story features community and student performers in collaboration

Lincoln University Of PA Defends Title In The Home Depot Retool Your School Contest

Don’t forget to vote for “Lincoln University of Pennsylvania” (not “Lincoln University” of Missouri) and help defend our reigning title in The Home Depot Retool Your School HBCU Campus Improvement Program. Last year, Lincoln was awarded the $50,000 Grand Prize Tier I Grant, which covered restoration costs for the porch and exterior of Alumni House. If successful, the new effort will help to transform the new African Art Museum with new, energy efficient windows and renovations to its porch this year.

Lincoln’s Langston Hughes Memorial Library Hosts ‘Prince Among Slaves’ Program

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Langston Hughes Memorial Library at Lincoln University presents the film, The Prince Among Slaves, on Monday, March 11 at 7 p.m. in the Ware Center.

The presentation, which is free and open-to-the-public, is aimed at familiarizing the public with the people, places, history, faith and culture of Muslims in the United States.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Delta Delta Chapter Announces Geraldine Kinney Scholarship for Finer Womanhood

The ladies of Delta Delta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are sponsoring its annual Geraldine Kinney Scholarship for Finer Womanhood.

The $250 scholarship, which is named for Geraldine Kinney, a charter founder of Zeta Phi Beta at Lincoln, who has dedicated more than 50 years of service aiding in the progression and betterment of the organization, is awarded to a female sophomore, junior or returning senior with a 3.0 and above G.P.A. that best exudes characteristics of finer womanhood.

Lincoln University Highlights Its Contributions to Black History on Facebook

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – As the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU) founded in 1854, Lincoln University, formerly, Ashmun Institute, is as much a part of Black history as the distinguished and notable alumni it has produced. 

In commemoration of February as Black History Month, the University’s “Alum Lincoln” Facebook page will highlight the University’s contributions, as well as its notable alumni’s contributions, not only to Black history, but to world history each day.
