  What are the Tour types?

The different tours that we offer are Family, Group, and Self-Guided tours

  • Self-Guided Tours: You can visit campus at your own time during regular hours (9:00am-4:30pm).You can do the tour at the pace of your group as opposed to the pace of a tour guide. You can take breaks at your convenience.
  • Family Tours: Family tours are for groups of 8 or less. Family tours meet at Cannon House (Admissions Building) and are greeted by a Student Ambassador for a information session then a 90 minutes campus tour.
  • Group Tours: Group tours are for groups of 9 or more. Group Tours meet at the Student Union Building (SUB) and are greeted by a Student Ambassador for a information session, then a 90 minute campus tour.
  Can I stay overnight?

Lincoln University does not schedule any overnight campus tours.

  Am I able to view the inside of a classroom or residential hall?

We are typically unable to a show inside classrooms or residential halls due to student use.

  Do I need to bring anything specific for my visit?

We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and depending on the weather please dress accordingly.

  Can I submit documents to an Admissions Counselor?

We ask that if you need to submit any admissions documents please submit them prior to your scheduled campus tour to the information provided below.

  What if I have questions about admission or financial aid, Will I be able to speak with someone?

We suggest scheduling an appointment ahead of time prior to your campus tour, counselors schedules varies and request may or may not be guaranteed.

  Is lunch included in my tour?

Lunch is not included during campus tours. If you are planning to eat on campus, you must coordinate with Thompson’s Dining Company directly. Please be aware that during summer months (April-August) scheduling will not be provided.

We are located in Southern Chester County; 47 miles from Philadelphia, PA; 26 miles from Wilmington, DE; 142 miles from New York, NY; 60 miles from Baltimore, MD; and 100 miles from Washington, D.C. Our direct address is 1570 Baltimore Pike, Lincoln University PA 19352

  Where does my Group Tour go when we arrive to campus?

You should enter the campus at the Main Entrance located on Baltimore Pike, which is also referred to as the Gym Gate. You will make a left turn at the first stop sign and will park in Lot N. Your campus tour will begin in the Student Union Building Theater. When you arrive at the Student Union Theater your Tour guide will be there waiting for you.  (http://www.lincoln.edu/student-union-building)

  Where does my Family Tour go when we arrive to campus?

You should enter the campus at the Main Entrance located on Baltimore Pike, which is also referred to as the Gym Gate. You will make a left turn at the first stop sign and continue straight passing two additional stop signs. You will then make a right turn and the Admissions Building will be on your left. Your campus tour will begin at the Cannon House. There is no cost for parking and you can park in the lot behind the Cannon House. Please review the campus map prior to your visit.

  How do I cancel or reschedule my scheduled tour?

You will receive a notification confirming your tour, to cancel or reschedule your tour, please click the button at the bottom of that notification.
