Welcome to Lincoln University, Class of True ’22! It is with great joy that I welcome you to this amazing community; our illustrious Lincoln, the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU). Earning a place at Lincoln University is no small achievement and we are delighted that you selected to attend and to continue your intellectual journey.

As your First-Year Class Dean, I am here to help you make your transition to university life. I am here to work with Academic Advising, Faculty, and other university partners to ensure that as First-Year students you receive timely information regarding registration, academic activities and appropriate co-curricular activities. This is a very important time for you and I promise to work collaboratively with faculty and administrative staff across the College to provide comprehensive academic support.

Throughout your college career, the the Office of the First-Year Dean is here to help monitor your academic progress while you pursue all the learning opportunities Lincoln can offer. Please see me for ALL things that can possible make your stay here be comfortable and a success. In your first year, you should be laying the foundation for an academic experience that will stretch you farther than you could ever imagine on all fronts; intellectually, socially, and personally. I have high expectations for each of you that you will contribute to our active community of learners.
