LINCOLN UNIVERSITY – On December 2, 2008 the Department of Education at Lincoln University recognized Heather Beasley, Robert Fauntroy, and Virginia McGarvey for the completion of their student teaching requirement.
Ms. Beasley, Mr. Fauntroy and Ms. McGarvey spent a semester teaching at Mount Pleasant High School in Wilmington, DE, Darley Elementary School in Wilmington, DE and Fred S. Angle Middle School in West Grove, PA respectively. Virginia was invited back to Fred S. Angle Middle School to begin teaching full-time in January. Robert intends on teaching at Darley on the second grade level after graduation. Once Heather takes her Praxis II exams, she will be working in the Delaware school district.
