LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA ~ Dr. Admasu Tucho, assistant professor and acting assistant chair of the Education Department at Lincoln University, will make a presentation on October 18 at the annual conference of the African Studies Association in New York.
Dr. Tucho’s presentation at the three-day event is titled, “Factors Influencing the Successful Retention of Skilled Manpower in Developing Nations: The case of Ethiopia and People of Ethiopian Origin in North America.”
“I am delighted to be one of the presenters at this conference,” Dr. Tucho said. “The conference will be attended by a host of scholars from across the nation.”
Dr. Tucho also serves as the coordinator and academic advisor for the master’s degree programs in education and reading. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, two master’s degrees in education and adult and continuing education from Cheyney University. He earned a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies from Temple University.
He joined the faculty at Lincoln University after a brief tenure as an instructor at the Community College of Philadelphia.
