Faculty and Staff at The Lincoln University clearly understand the vision for The Students First Campaign. This was recognized as Dr. Patricia Joseph, Dean of the College of Professional, Graduate and Extended Studies, invited her colleagues to join her at the Alumni House over light refreshments to make their contributions to the Campaign together.

Due to Dr. Joseph’s request, faculty members gathered on Monday, April 28th with their hearts set on giving alongside their colleagues.

Dr. Belinda Madison, Assistant Director of Counseling Services & Women’s Center, who was among those present, personally related to the campaign’s intent.

“It’s important to give back,” said Dr. Madison. “I was a recipient of a need-based scholarship, which had I not received the award, I would not have been able to go to college.”

As the conversation continued, many shared their personal reasons as to why they decided to contribute.

By the event’s close, Dr. Joseph and her colleagues donated almost $2,000 to The Students First Campaign.

The Students First Campaign was established to raise $6 million for merit-based student scholarships and $4 million for need-based student scholarships. We encourage all alumni to get on board and give their gift today. Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement 484-365-7440.
