Lincoln University pitcher Terence Berry (Dover, N.J./Dover HS) has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week for his performance during the week ending February 19, 2017

The NCBWA honor is the first ever earned by a Lincoln pitcher in their NCAA Division II history.

Berry started the Lions opening game of the season against Urbana University and combined with teammate Marcos Castillo (Brooklyn, N.Y./HS of Telecommunications) to toss a no-hitter, the first in Lincoln's NCAA Division II era which began in 2010 and the program's first since the 2006 season (March 10, 2006 vs. Gallaudet).
