Butler named CIAA Field Athlete of the Week

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA  – For the third time this season, the first for the outdoor portion, Glenn Butler, Jr. (Greenburgh, N.Y./White Plains) has been honored by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

Butler posted an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 2.05m (6'8.75") in the high jump, finishing first overall at the DSU Sting Invite. His high jump mark is tied for 21st nationally and first in the Atlantic Region while also leading the CIAA this outdoor season. Butler also ran a leg on LU's 4x100 relay team that posted a time of 42.53 at the meet.

A two-time indoor All-American in the long jump, Butler has yet to compete in the event during outdoor season.

Lincoln returns to action this weekend at the Spartan Invitational, hosted by Norfolk State University.
