Clarke completes her first signing class

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA - Lincoln University head softball coach Renee Clarke has announced her first signing class as the coach of the Lions softball program. The class features four freshmen and will be the foundation for the program's turnaround.

Two of the players hail from Pittsburgh, one from the state of New York, and the final one joined the Pride from California.

IRLYNN RICHARDSON | MIF | 5-8
PENN HILLS HIGH SCHOOL | PITTSBURGH, PA

NOTES: Three-year letterwinner … earned Western Pennsylvania honorable mention … Pride Class and Respect Class Award … also two-year letterwinner in bowling … earned letter in tennis.
COACHES COMMENTS: Irlynn is a very talented student athlete who gave her verbal commitment to our Lions Family after her visit to campus. Accomplished in the classroom and on the field, she will make an immediate impact on our program. I look forward to working with Irlynn for the next four years.

JASMINE SOLIS | MIF | 5-3
SUMMIT HIGH SCHOOL | FONTANA, CA

NOTES: Played for E1 prospects travel team in California. 
COACHES COMMENTS: Jasmine is very talented student-athlete capable of playing multiple positions in the infield and is accomplished in the classroom. Jasmine will make an immediate impact on our Lions Family. I look forward to working with her the next four years.

COACHES COMMENTS: Jarae is a talented student-athlete that verbal to our Lion Family after her visit. A versatile athlete Jarae brings a wealth of experience behind the plate and will see some time in the outfield. I look forward to working with Jarae for the next four years.
