First Place Hawks Sweep Lions

Playing their second match on the road in as many days, the Lincoln University women's volleyball team dropped their Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Northern Division match against first place Chowan University 3-0 Monday night in Murfreesboro, North Carolina.

Chowan took the first set 25-15 before completing the sweep winning the next two sets 25-10 and 25-11. The Lions fall to 4-16 overall and 4-9 in conference play with a 3-4 record in the CIAA Northern Division. The Hawks improve to 14-7 overall and 11-2 in league play with a 7-0 record in CIAA Northern Division games.
