Greene and Russell Named Lincoln Athletes of the Week

Tamara Greene (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway)
Tamara earned this week's honor by virtue of her being Named the ECAC Division II women's soccer Player of the Week last week.   Greene is currently ranked in the top 50 nationally in four different offensive categories:  points/game (16th); goals/game (24th); assists/game (24th); and total points (48th).  Statistically Tamara also ranks amongst the top five in the Atlantic region in six different categories:  points/game (1st); goals/game (3rd); assists/game (2nd); total points (3rd); total assists (4th) and total goals (4th)  

Mariah Russell (St. Louis, MO/Maplewood Richmond Heights HS)
Mariah recorded 27 kills in the Lady Lions two matches last week.  Opening the week against virginia Union, Mariah  recorded 11 kills and added seven digs in a 3-0 loss to the Spartans.  In a 3-0 win over Felician University, Russell led all players with 16 kills while adding eight digs while recording an attack% of .234 (16-5-47)  For the week, Mariah hit .205 (27-10-83)
