Harris Extends School's Javelin Record as Lions Compete at Millersville Metrics Invite

Christian Harris (Rochester, N.Y./The Aquinas Institute) extended her own school record for the javelin throw as the Lincoln University women's track and field team competed at the Millersville Metric Invite in Millersville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, recording a 15th place finish.
 
Lincoln scored a total of 15 points, to place 15th amongst the 20 programs competing.  West Chester University was the top scorer in the meet with 155 points.
 
Harris tossed the javelin 34.09 meters, breaking her previous school record set two weeks ago at the Maryland Invitational by .1 meters.  Her toss came in the preliminary round and Harris finished in 11th place overall.
