Lady Lions Cruise to Win over Cheyney in "Battle of the First"

The Lincoln University women's basketball team put three players in double figures as they handily defeated Cheyney University in the "Battle of the First"  Monday night at Cheyney University's Alfred Cope Hall.

The Lady Lions improve to 6-15 overall.  Cheyney falls to 3-13.

Teira Pendleton (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Poly Institute) scored 12 points and led all players with eight rebounds.  De'jah Taylor (Nanuet, NY/Paramus Catholic Regional) also scored 12 points and had a career high six blocks and three assists.  She'cquan Bailey (Denton, Md/Baltimore City CC) added 11 points and a team high five assists.
