LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University Concert Choir has been invited to sing the National Anthem at the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys football game on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 4:25 p.m.

This won’t be the first time the choir performs the National Anthem at a professional sporting event; for two years in a row, in both 2018 and 2019, the choir performed the National Anthem at Philadelphia Phillies home baseball game at Citizens Bank Park.

“I am thrilled for the Lincoln University Concert Choir members,” said Dr. Camilla Horne, the director of choral activities in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. “This is such an honor. The students’ hard work and dedication to musical excellence has paid off!”

Explaining the choir’s selection, Denise Kozul, marketing and executive assistant in the Philadelphia Eagles’ Marketing Department, said, “I listened and enjoyed the choir’s performance at a Phillies’ game in April. It was beautiful!”
