Lincoln University mourns the sudden death of Dr. Edgar Berry, interim vice president of student affairs, who passed away earlier this week.

Dr. Berry has been a member of the Lincoln University family since August 29.

Services will be held Monday, October 17 at Bethany Baptist Church, 1121 Tilghman Street in Chester.  Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lincoln University to establish the Dr. Edgar Berry Endowed Scholarship Fund.  Donations should be sent to the Office of the President with the notation, “Dr. Edgar Berry Scholarship.”
