Lions Fall to Bulldogs in Final Home Game of Season

Freshman quarterback Jason Epps (Bowie, MD/Bowie High School) passed for 246 yards (20-for 37) and two touchdowns while rushing for 83 as the Lincoln University football team lost their final home game of the season to Bowie state University 41-23 Saturday evening at Lions stadium. 
 
The Lions fall to 1-8 overall and 0-6 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association games.  The Bulldogs of Bowie State improve to 5-3, 5-1 in CIAA play and 3-1 in the North Division.
 
Epps 329 total yards accounted for 92.4% of the Lions offense.  His 83 yards on the ground is a career-high.  Andre Price (Rialto,CA/Chabot College) snagged seven passes from Epps for 147 yards and one touchdown while Jody Thomas (Anaheim,CA/Marist College) caught a three-yard touchdown pass, his only reception on the evening.
