Lions Generate a Hit Parade as they Sweep Tigers

The Lincoln University softball team knocked out a total of 30 hits as they completed their season series sweep of Trinity Washington University with a doubleheader sweep over the Tigers 14-1 and 18-9 Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
 
The Lions improve to 6-18 with the two wins and complete a four game series sweep, having defeated the Tigers twice at Lincoln back on March 30th.  Trinity falls to 1-15.
 
Alexis Harrod (Kiribati, South Korea/Seoul American HS) pitched both games and earned a pair of wins to improve to 5-12 on the season.  She allowed just one run and five hits while striking out eight in the Lions five-inning 14-1 win in the opener and nine runs (eight earned) and 11 hits while striking out ten in the nightcap.
