News Brief: Preparing for the global economy, students meet with nation’s leading software company during day-long visit to campus

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Students packed the Wellness Center auditorium on March 13, to meet with technology and business professionals from one the nation’s leading software companies, SAP.

Hosted by the Office of Internship Services through Lincoln’s High Impact Co-Curricular Student Engagement Unit, the day-long event began with SAP professionals sharing with students the myriad of internship and career opportunities available within the company, and the importance of gaining real-world experiences while still in school.

In the afternoon, students — dressed in business attire with polished resumes in hand — enjoyed lunch before participating in demonstrations, interactive activities, and on-the-spot interviews.

The forum is part of Lincoln University’s commitment to ensuring students participate in opportunities that provide them with the knowledge and competencies needed to be competitive in a global economy.

Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU), educates and empowers students to lead their communities and change the world. Lincoln offers a rigorous liberal arts education to a diverse student body of approximately 2,200 men and women in more than 35 undergraduate and graduate programs.
