Overton Named CIAA Coach of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in conjunction with the CIAA Men's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association announced the Player, Rookie, and Coach of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.   For the second time this season, Lincoln University Head Men's Basketball Coach Doug Overton has earned CIAA Coach of the Week honors.
 
Overton's Lincoln squad went 2-1 in three road games last week, earning consecutive road victories at St. Augustine's University and Bowie State University.  It marked the first time since the 2014-15 season that a Lincoln men's basketball team won two consecutive CIAA road games.
