Pendleton and Cheek Named to CIAA All-Tournament Team

Charlotte, N.C. - On Saturday afternoon, Lincoln University junior Teira Pendleton (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Poly Institute) and senior Monique Cheek (Teaneck, NJ/Harford Community College) were named to the 2017 CIAA Women's Basketball All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the conference championship game at the Spectrum Center.

Pendleton earned the honor after averaging 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in the Lady Lions three contests.     She scored 16 points in Lincoln's 59-51 loss to Virginia State University in the tournament semi-finals on Friday and had 20 points and eight rebounds in the Lady Lions come-from-behind 74-71 win over top-seed Chowan University on Wednesday.  Pendleton opened the tournament with a seven-point six rebound effort against #4 seed Shaw University on Tuesday.
