Lincoln University men's basketball player Deaquan Williams (Camden, N.J./Camden) has been named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for his performance during the week ending February 11, 2018.

This week's honor is the second for Williams who earned CIAA rookie of the Week honors on December 5, 2017.

In two games last week, Williams averaged ten points, nine rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game while shooting 53.3% from the field, turning in two solid all-around performances.

Opening the week against CIAA North Division rival Bowie State University, Williams recorded his fourth double-double of the season, grabbing 13 rebounds while scoring ten points.  He also had a career-high six blocks, the most in a game by a Lions player since November 2014.
