Scholarship Appeal Application

Instructions

1. Complete the Appeal Application providing your office Lincoln University email account. Forms received from accounts other than official university email accounts will not be processed.
3. Submit supporting documentation to the Office of Financial Aid. Documentation may be submitted electronically with your appeal, may be mailed or emailed. All supporting documentation must be submitted together. Indicate on the packet that the documents are for “Scholarship REVIEW’’. Make sure your name and Lincoln University ID are on each piece of documentation. Appeals will not be reviewed until supporting documentation is received.
2. Deadline for filing is JUNE 28, 2021

Students receiving University Scholarships are required to meet the criteria of the scholarship awarded. Grade point average (GPA) and credit requirements (30) are two of the factors that determine continued eligibility. A review of your academic record indicates you have not met one, or both, of the following eligibility criteria:

• You have not maintained the minimum GPA.
• You have earned less than the required 30 credit hours.

Appeal Process

If extenuating circumstances prevented you from maintaining the required GPA and completed credit hours, we are offering you the opportunity to appeal for reinstatement of your scholarship.

To do so:

• Complete the appeal form and submit it according to the instructions listed above.
• DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED for any documentable circumstance. This includes medical, work, and other types of documentation. If a situation is documentable and we receive no documentation, your appeal will be denied automatically. 

If your appeal is denied, you will be sent a FINANCIAL AID DETERMINATION NOTIFICATION.

The decision of the review committee is final. You will be unable to appeal eligibility criteria established by Lincoln University.
