'PRIDE OF LIONS' CO-AUTHOR AND LINCOLN ALUM DISCUSSES & SIGNS BOOK

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA –  Lincoln Alum and Harvard Emeritus Professor Dr. Martin Kilson ’53 discusses and signs copies of the book, Pride of the Lions, A History of Lincoln University from 1945-2007 at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 22 at the Ware Center Theater.

Lincoln University Hosts More Than 41 Employers In Annual Career Fair

More than 41 employers will participate in Lincoln University’s Annual Career Fair, Wednesday Oct. 17th from noon to 3 p.m. at the Student Union Building’s Multipurpose Room.

The event is open to alumni, students, parents and anyone affiliated with the Lincoln University community (family members of employees as well).  Professional dress code is required.

Currently, 26 of the 41 employers are willing to interview Freshman students and four of them are willing to hire International Students (F1 Visa sponsorship).

Two Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs Offer Students Success Lessons

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Business leaders and entrepreneurs Tom “Chico” Stafford, ‘73 and William S. Parrish, Jr. echoed the sentiment that students must hold onto their dreams and work passionately to realize them.

The pair’s remarks were part of the Oct. 11th Lincoln University Convocation sponsored by the Department of Excellence in Business and Entrepreneurial Studies, where the two HBCU graduates, outlined qualities and the understanding they felt were essential to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Scheduling conflicts sideline Lincoln’s Presidential Forum

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – While President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney had been invited to participate in the Presidential Forum to be held Oct. 9 at Lincoln University of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, one of our partners had unofficially and prematurely released the press announcement.

Since then, we have been informed that President Obama and Governor Romney are unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts.  No more information is available at this time.

Dr. Jennings not only called for improvements or increases in enrollment, international student recruitment, retention, infrastructure, programs and courses, faculty development and assessment, distance learning, research grants, and fiscal management, but also outlined how it would be achieved amid a looming financial crisis.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Lincoln students offered a theatrical tribute Thursday, Sept. 20th in honor of the inauguration of Dr. Robert R. Jennings, 13th President of Lincoln University of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an all University Convocation at the University’s International Cultural Center Theater.
