Lincoln University has enhanced learning opportunities for potential students by adding the FLEX (Furthering the Lincoln EXperience) Bachelor of Human Services (BHS) program, which offers an accelerated degree for adult learners who work in the human services field.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA — Lincoln University will hold a Fulbright Gateway Orientation for 56 graduate students who come from 30 countries. The grantees will spend five days, August 8-12, 2011, on Lincoln’s campus and participate in workshops and seminars presented by Lincoln University faculty and staff.
The seminars will cover a wide range of topics related to graduate student life in the United States. The five-day experience also includes leisure trips to Lancaster, Pa. and colonial Philadelphia.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA— For rising senior Natachie Elie, the title Woman of the Year, which she was recently named by the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), should come as no surprise considering the list of accomplishments she has achieved in her three years at the University.
Elie, finance and banking major in the Business and Information Technology (BIT) Center of Excellence, was also awarded a $10,000 scholarship by NABA for her impressive undergraduate performance, motivation and commitment to her community.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA. – Lincoln University received a $33,000.00 grant from the Educational Advancement Alliance, Inc. to continue its 12th year of the Summer Transportation Institute (STI). The Educational Advancement Alliance, Inc. has contributed over $280,000.00 to the program. Over 215 students have graduated from the program at Lincoln University since 1999.

A nationwide network has been formed to monitor and maintain honeybee health with the Bee Informed Partnership, a five-year, $5 million program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
The Bee Informed Partnership will use an epidemiological approach to identify bee common management practices and use them to develop best practices on a regional and operationally appropriate level.
Nuclear Protection Academy (NucelarPro) is proud to announce a new strategic alliance partnership with Lincoln University of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Through this alliance, NuclearPro will work closely with Lincoln University to create employment opportunities within the nuclear industry for students. The alliance allows for the expansion of curriculum in many subject matter areas related to the nuclear industry, such as nuclear security and operations, diversity/convergence in the workplace, compliance to industry regulations, and problem identification and evaluation.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Assistant professor and Mass Communications Center of Excellence director Murali Balaji moderated a panel on the legacies of five African American pioneers last Thursday at the African American Museum of Philadelphia. The panel, “Free to Be,” featured the descendants and protégés of African American legends Paul Robeson, Josephine Baker, Henry Ossawa Tanner, Julian Abele, and Marian Anderson.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Lincoln University’s Center of Excellence in Business and Information Technology (CEBIT) has been awarded $64,578.20 from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to administer the Summer Transportation Institute (STI) program on its main campus from July 5-29.
The primary purpose of the STI program is to “create awareness and stimulate interest in secondary school students to take advantage of the opportunities that exist in the transportation industry.”
